Kosh or the phone calendar

Where the phone calendar is fine

For a one-off date or a personal nudge, the calendar and to-do apps are free, quick and already there. Kosh does not replace them.

What a payment needs

An EMI has an amount, a schedule and an end date. Kosh keeps all three, notifies each Member with notifications on, and shows the payment as done once anyone marks it.

One schedule, two phones

Add a payment once. Both phones get the notification. You don’t copy each date into two calendars, and you don’t ask who paid.

Questions

Kosh vs the phone calendar: questions

Which payments can I add?

EMIs, SIPs, SWPs, insurance premiums, PPF deposits, rent and fees. Each is added once with its schedule.

Who gets the notification?

Every Member of the Household who has notifications on gets one on the due date.

What happens when someone pays?

They mark it done in Kosh. The other Members’ phones show it as done, so everyone can see it is paid.

Does Kosh pay the EMI for me?

No. Kosh cannot move money and never asks for bank logins. It tracks the payment and notifies you; you pay it the way you do today.

One plan. Every phone in the family.
